It's over.

I surprised. I thought that the format war would continue for years and years; but it's over.

Personally I preferred HD-DVD over Blu-Ray, entirely because the name was simpler and less overpowering. I know that's a horrible reason, but I couldn't see all that much difference between them. I (still) think that they should have worked together to make the ultimate (until surpassed) movie format, but, oh well.

I still don't think I'll get one.
